Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is $140 per 50 minute session.

I am trained in a variety of therapeutic models, but tend to use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as a foundational approach. I have found it to be a wonderful template useful for many clinical issues. You can find more information about ACT by checking out the website below. Along with ACT, my work is, at its core, relational. It is the relationship that heals. Authentic relationship happens when people feel safe enough to be vulnerable. Through allowing the self to be seen for who one truly is rather than who they wish they were, true connection is possible. I work very hard to create a space that will allow this to happen and to truly get to know my clients.

Couples Therapy

Couples therapy is $150 per 50 minute session.

I love to work with couples. I believe love and belonging are two of the most powerful needs human beings have. We need each other. No where is this more evident than in our desire to share life with a partner. But, as in most cases, the best and most important things in life are often difficult at times and require intention and work.

The basis of my work with couples comes from Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy. It is based in a powerful theory about the human need for love and belonging called Attachment Theory. You can find more information about both Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and Attachment Theory by going to the website below.

Family Therapy

Family sessions are $160 per 50 minute session.

I am also trained to work with the family unit. I earned a dual graduate degree in both Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Counseling. The difference in the two approaches is the systemic perspective that undergirds Marriage and Family Therapy. It is based on the belief that "no man is an island," as seventeenth-century author John Donne wrote. We are connected and as a result are deeply effected by the system to which we belong. Through this lens, even symptoms of mental and emotional illness in one member of the family do not originate inside that particular member. It is a family problem. And it is through the family's work that healing can be found for all members. There are a couple of systemic approaches I gravitate toward including Bowen Family Systems Theory and Structural Family Therapy.
